Windows Media Encoder keeps stopping with an error message which says "The encoding process was unable to keep up with the amount of supplied data"

While this error could be happening for a number of reasons, the first thing you should try is applying the following hotfix to Windows Media Encoder.

Another common cause is that you may not have enough hardware resources (CPU, RAM, etc) to encode the stream. If you are running multiple encoders on the same machine you might try stopping one to see if the problem goes away. If it does you may try upgrading your hardware. You should also check with Windows Task Manager to see what your CPU usage looks like, how much memory you have available, etc.
